The Integration Of Real-time Data Of Enterprise By Using OPC

At present, the focus of the integration of management and control is manufacturing execution system(MES), whereas the kernel of MES is the management and maintenance of a real-time database. with the existence of the real-time database, the enterprise resource project(ERP)and process control system(PCS) can be united and the integration of management and control of a enterprise can be realized. The main point of a real-time database is the ability of acquisition data. Now the main trend of information integration in industrial control field is using OPC as a standard.The main purpose of this paper is to illustrate the process of information integration in Power child factory of Gui Zhou aluminum Factory by using OPC technology. In this paper, Firstly, we introduce the application of OPC in the integration of management and control;second, we illustrate the mechanism of OPC. It includes the developing methods of OPC client and OPC server. Then we present the actual method of data integration of MES by using OPC technology.The main works of the author in this paper are included as follow :1. Researching the background of this project and the integration of management and control2. Introducing the status of MES in the integration of management and control3. Introducing the function of OPC technology in the information integration of MES4. Discussing the scheme of the integration of management and control in the Gui Zhou aluminum Factory5. Discussing the different method of developing an OPC client program6. The method of developing an OPC server program ,an instance of a real OPC data accessing server in the project.7. The introducting of LiKong real-time database software and it's connection to an OPC server8. The making of the operator interfaces, the application of WWW mode, the analysis andreport of data on the LiKong real-time database and so on.
