Study On Organizing Network And Link Connectivity In Mobile Self-organized Network

Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is the hot spot research in wireless network nowadays. Routing protocol is one of the key technologies in implementing MANET. This thesis is organized as follows:According to the basic concept and characteristics of MANET, the design of a clustering and routing protocol which adapts to this experiment system is given detailedly based on the analysis and comparison of all kinds of MANET routing protocols. We implement the clustering and routing protocol with embedded experiment platform.A mobility model is developed based on the analysis of the characteristics of nodes'mobility in MANET. According to this mobility model, we analyze the movement characteristics of nodes and the spatial probability of link connectivity in detail. Finally, we propose two methods to improve network performances including the routing selection and SOP sending cycle strategies. These strategies have been made with favorable results in practice and simulation.
