China witnesses series general business newspapers booming such as 21st Century Economic Report, Economic Observer, Business Times, which are representative in recent years. It is China economic development, the fiercer competition and segmentation of the media market that result in the business newspaper.Comparing with traditional economic newspapers, the newly business newspapers put emphasis on their market status and introduce different methods to business report. Meanwhile, the management is more vigorous with multi-capital investment. However, since it isn't launched for a long time, many problems such as homogenous competition, trouble in public opinion supervision, weak influence, and lack of core competition are found in the development of business newspapers.The strategy aiming at those problems should be brought out as soon as possible. On the basis of careful market research, the business newspaper should have more accurate orientation on readers and stress on the skill available in public opinion supervision .In addition, in favor of enhancing business core competition, it is necessary to provide readers with experienced comment, maintain newspapers' quality and style in a period and hold some activities.The developing trend is that the inferior will be excluded by the superior. A business newspaper magnate like Wall Street Daily will come into being ultimately. With the increasingly fierce competition, the eligible journalists of business newspapers will be in shortage.
