With development of Heavy Engineering Transporters toward the direction of the large-scale projects, large tonnage and the modular, as well as to designed different function of transporters in order to meet the transport needs. All of above make the transporters control systems more complicated to some degree. Rapid and timely detection, identification of system failure, reducing various types of losses caused by the vehicles breakdowns, have become the focus of the study. Vehicles remote monitoring system which monitor the real-time state of vehicles ensure that cost of the manual on-site maintenance transporters maximize saving, and improve vehicles maintenance and management of the authenticity, reliability and real-time, and maintain the vehicle running sustainability and efficiency. In this paper, the development of Heavy Engineering Transporter remote monitoring system that based on JSHP is achieved, and some of the key technologies are discussed in detail.First of all, the overall structure of remote monitoring system is designed on the basis of Heavy Engineering Transporters, and analyze the realization of the data acquisition module and the data transfer module. Secondly, on the basis of vehicle terminal, using the existing GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) and Internet network technology, discuss the constitute of the monitoring center of remote monitoring system, including WebGIS(Web Geographic Information System), communications modules and management of data, and respectively carry on research realization of the various parts. Finally, on the basis of JSHP150T transporters test the remote monitoring system and complete the design of the basic requirements well, such as the vehicle terminal real-time collection, transmission of data; real-time data display on the monitoring center and real-time vehicle location tracking. At the same time, the system has the characteristics of stable and reliable transmission, enough distance, low cost and strong anti-interference. And that it has practical application value, and popularization.
