Nanfangdaiy is located in Guangzhou which is an advanced position of the reform and opening-up. Since the six times of reform, Nanfangdaily became the top of the provincial Party committee newspaper. And the success of the professional weekly also led the behavior of setting the weekly in the provincial Party committee newspaper. This thesis brings in the theory of CI strategy, and uses its frame to analyze the concept, layout and content of the Nanfangdaily.CI strategy is an common use in the Public relations. CI strategy is facing to the employees, advertisement medias, consumers and the related company, while the newspaper edit is facing to the journalist and the editor. It seems like there is no common between the CI strategy and newspaper edit, but there really are the same between them, such as systematic, identity, diversity, and lasting stability. Bringing theCI strategy to the editing of newspaper will have an new way to assist the analysis.First this thesis analyze the positioning of the professional weekly in Nanfangdaily, and find its core idea. Secondly it analyzes the content of automobiles, 3C weekly, estate weekly and automobiles weekly. Then Summarize the way to desire the single story, column and the special plan. Finally, fuscous to the view of the newspaper, through the top page and different pages, summarize the characteristics of professional weekly.
