Design And Implementation Of The Information Visualization Tool Base On Flex Platform

In the era of Information, the successfully exploration of the complex relationship of abstract information made the emergence of information visualization. The information visualization technology has the feature of diversity, complexity, which is important for the research and implementation of Interaction, Data Mining, Sociology, Graphics, and Cognitive Approach.The development of information visualization component is a complicated, which needs excellent computer techniques to understand and design kinds of components, moreover, a single information visualization component or application could not be omnipotent. The implementation field of information visualization component is wide, different users will take different requirements for the same information visualization design, which make the reusability of the design important. That's why we need a well performed information visualization development tools to support the design and implementation of the component.This dissertation simply introduces the concept and specialties of information visualization, which also summarizes the design principles and implementation methods of information visualization toolkit. With the comparison of the two famous toolkits (Prefuse, IVT) in three aspects, this dissertation explains the commonness and specialties of the toolkit development. Finally, with the introduction of Flex platform, this dissertation concludes this framework.The main innovation of this article is the information visualization toolkit based on the Flex platform, and compared with other toolkits which mostly based on Java and .Net platform, this toolkit is more easily embedded to kinds of application of Internet.
