As social-economic development continues and globalization gradually deepens, crises become big problems, which our government has to face. Crisis public relations is a series of organizational crisis management and resolution activities in order to maintain an image, using public relations theories and strategies. Professor Ju Yanan-the famous scholar-put forward the "three elements of public relations" perspective. He believes that "the three elements of public relations" refer to the social organizations, public and dissemination activities, and dissemination activities, which is the most important. Actually, public relations are the dissemination and communications between the two groups. Therefore, the key to the success in public relations is using various forms of media with flexibility and creativity to form a favorable public opinion. The press release in crisis public relations is an important tool to solve crises. At present, the Chinese government's news releases for crises have many shortages; there are many aspects to be improved.This article is based on the theories of public relations, communication and journalism; it looks back our government crisis event press releases and analyzes the characteristics of typical press releases in different periods, summarizing the successes and failures that our government has faced. The article also explains the importance and necessity of crisis news releases. In addition, this article proposes some suggestions for improving the existing shortcomings of the current work, and discusses how to work more scientifically and effectively in the future to make the press release in crisis better.
