With the popularity of Internet technology, all walks of life dependent on the network reached an unprecedented height. Trend of economic globalization makes these technologies which based on the theory of remote control develop rapidly, including mobile office, remote communication, and remote assistance, etc.At present, the application of the remote monitoring system in the fields of education, health care, aerospace, defense and so on,makes the traditional mode of work and life greatly improved. Through analysis, there are many weaknesses existing in the current remote monitoring system based on C/S mode.These weaknesses are limitation of connection, redundancy of transmissional data, singleness of network communications, and poor portability of the system.Base on the basic principles of remote control technology of C/S mode and network communication technology, the paper designs an remote monitoring system based on C/S mode and achieve its core function modules.The paper starts by analyzing related researches and development trend of the remote control technology based on C/S mode, followed by basic concepts of the archtechture of C/S mode, Winsock technology and screen control, and a further introduction of the application of these technologies in the system. In the next part, based on analysis of advanced researches on the remote control thchnology based on C/S modle for education, the paper designs a remote monitoring system based on C/S mode. The system solves many problems, such as connection-limitation between client and server, only supporting one to one remote assistance, as well as redundancy of screen data.Meanwhile, the system architecture, the main business processes, core functional modules are designed in detail.In the design, not only using available tools to reduce the implementation complexity of the system, but also ensuring its feasibility by exploring many internal mechanisms of Windows.On the basis of the design, the paper illustrates the implementation of the system in detail, including important steps in every module and special notices. Then a basic verification of the system is conducted using an experiment. In the end, the paper summarizes the system features, and proposes some possible improvement for future research.Motivated by realistic demand, and after researching on remote control technology based on C/S mode, the paper shows creativity by proposing, designing and implementing a remote monitoring system which can provide remote assistance and monitoring to many servers simultaneously. It provides a reference for developing more effective remote monitoring system both in theory and implementation.
