The architecture of ForCES-based cluster router can well satisfy the needs of next generation network such as openness, extensibility, programmability and high availability. This paper mainly investigates the business process modeling and data transmission mechanism between forwarding elements (FE), as well as some key technologies.First, this paper introduces the architecture of ForCES-based cluster router and a model of data transmission requirements between FE is proposed. Moreover, the classification of LFB library, modeling of logical function block (LFB) in cluster and the business process modeling between FE is studied. Second, by fully studying and analyzing the problem of cluster load balancing between FE, an appropriate solution is proposed based on some existing methods. Then, the design and realization of data transmission in business process between FE are mainly introduced, which focus on the processing flow of some modules. Finally, the part of realized are tested and the results are analyzed. The main results of this paper provide an example of function extension of ForCES-based cluster router and lay a foundation for its further application. |
