Research And Design Of Embedded Router Based On S3C15410B

The embedded router based on S3C4510B is researched and designed in this paper. The overall design,the design of hardware system,the analysis of Linux routing policy and the implementation of application software are respectively expounded. All those research can establish a firm foundation for the application of embedded system and the development of embedded products.Firstly, the basic composition and characteristics of the embedded router are researched in this paper, the overall design scheme and the hardware architecture of the system are given. Then, based on overall analysis of the IP and Linux routing policy, the software system of the embedded router is mainly designed and realized. In design, the operational encapsulation of the kernel routing tables,the implementation of protocol conversion,the construction and processing of ARP datagram are the key. Most of the protocols of TCP/IP protocol group are supported by the embedded router, the routing function of IP packets is realized, and the conversion between the TCP/IP protocol and the HDLC protocol is accomplished, the connection of the two networks base on TCP/IP protocol is realized. Finally, the function and performance testing of the system is carried out.
