System Development For Network Platform Of Excellence Courses

With the demands of the university's curricula construction, it is worthful to develop a practical platform to design the curricula of excellence. This dissertation presents how to develop the software platform, which could both satisfy the need of stand-alone running and realize the web publishing easily.This platform has several features. The first is the application mode. The system employs "Scattered by making-focus" mode. It will be convenient for the teachers to develop their own ppt coursewares and release them to the internet.The second is the management function. The system introduces dynamic managenment idea to establish a multi functional submenu system which could guarantee the teachers adding and combining different kind of menus independently and easily. By this system, teachers could propose declaration, curriculum, teaching content, teaching conditions, teaching team, practice teaching resources, environment and teaching effect, the course features, policy support and other columns. There is also an online Multi-module interactive subsystem which meets the teacher's demand to interact with students freely.The last is the realization of Technology. The system employs Linux+Apache+ MySQL+PHP which combines the B/S Architecture, the open-source LAMP group and technology, the PHP+MySQL, WIMP technology and the Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax) technology.
