Confucius is our country ancient famous thinker, the founder of the Confucian school, being referred to as"The Sage Master" and listed as the world’s top ten cultural celebrities. Today, Confucius institutes are around the world, becomes China’s promotion of Chinese language in foreign countries, and the main mechanism of spreading Chinese culture. The thoughts of Confucius is broad and profound, later generations research Confucius thought mainly through "the analects", a book that records the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples. This article is based on the research of "the analects", at the same time, Combing the Confucius’s thought of happiness. The happiness thought of Confucius is based on people’s moral values, he thinks the basic way to achieve happiness is to improve the moral. At the same time, Confucius emphasizes the important effect to achieve happiness:"desire and not greedy" value pursuit and harmonious interpersonal relationship, harmonious family, harmonious society. Confucius’s happiness thoughts deeply influences generations of Chinese people to pursuit happiness. With the rapid economic development today, the happiness thoughts of Confucius has a positive reference and guidance to form reasonable happiness for the present, is helpful for us to understand objectively and reasonably the diversified view of happiness and the contemporary sense of well-being, provides us with possible exploration and revelation for what kind of happiness we should pursue.<The analysis the view on happiness of Confucius> mainly includes four parts: The first part expounds background, significance of the research and the thoughts of Confucius outlook on the research status at home and abroad, and defines the concept of pertinent to the topic in this paper, puts forward the research difficulties and innovations in this paper. The second part is theoretical basis part of this article. Read the analects of Confucius and refer to the other, on the basis of relevant data and documents, using the method of literature research and the qualitative analysis, comb and expounded Confucius’ happiness thought from three aspects:individual, family and society systematically. The third part tries to summarize and review the Confucius thought of human nature, practical and with the characteristics of the system of profit, and dialectically discusses the concept of Confucius thought of contributions and limitations. The fourth part of paper describes and analyzes the current our country exists diversification in the happiness of the four representative, combined with the positive role of happiness of Confucius thought, reasonable understanding of the contemporary sense of well-being. Finally, the article found happiness throughout in Confucius thought, from the perspective of ethics to the possibility has carried on the beneficial exploration of happiness:to personal development and "the desire not greed" and promote social harmony happiness, is the true happiness.
