| Objective: Observe its clinical therapeutic efficacy that using eye-acupuncture and herbal penetration therapy together to cure stroke sequela spastic hemiplegia. Materials and Methods:Assuming the clinical data of 70 patients all with stroke sequela spastic hemiplegia to make a clinical observation in Affiliated Hospitals of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and rehabilitation center encephalopathy K2 during November 2014 to December 2015. The 70 patients were divided into two groups randomly and equally: the test group(eye-acupuncture and chiropractic therapy) and the matched group(herbal penetration therapy only). The matched group usedherbal penetration therapy only.In the test group, the patients treated by eye-acupuncture based on the matched group. The eye-acupuncture chose upper energizer area, lower energizer area, liver area and kidney area on both sides. In the treatment period, every single patient would be treated once a day, five times a week, and four weeks as a course of treatment. After the test, the clinical therapeutic efficacy of these two groups would be evaluated by four methods: TCM symptoms quantization table, the modified Ashworth scale assessment, simplified Fugl- MeyerAssessment and FIM rating scale. Results: 1.Before the treatment, the patients were divided into two groups to be graded according to gender, age and course of disease. p>0.05, there was no significant difference. 2. The evaluation of two groups of patients by using TCM symptoms quantization table, total effective rate of observation group is88.57%,;total effective rate of matched group is65.7%. The total effective rate of the observation group were higher than the matched group significantly and have differences(p<0.05). 3. The evaluation of two groups of patients by using modified Ashworth scale assessment, total effective rate of observation group is 91.43%;total effective rate of matched group is 68.6%. The total effective rateof the observation group were higher than the matched group significantly and have differences(p<0.05). 4. The evaluation of two groups of patients by using simplified Fugl- Meyer movement function rating scale had obviously improved(p<0.01). The degree of improvement of the observation group was higher than the matched group significantly and have differences(p<0.05). 5. The evaluation of two groups of patients by using FIM rating scale had obviously improved(p<0.01). The degree of improvement of the observation group was higher than the matched group significantly and have differences(p<0.05). Conclusion: 1.It makes anobvious improvement that using eye-acupuncture and herbal penetration therapy together to cure stroke sequela spastic hemiplegia. 2. The evaluation of eye-acupuncture and herbal penetration therapy together to cure stroke sequela spastic hemiplegia by using TCM symptoms quantization table, modified Ashworth scale assessment, simplified Fugl- Meyer movement function rating scale and FIM rating scale had obviously improved. |
