A Retrospective Study On The Effect Of Bushen Huoxue Recipe On The Status Of Pregnancy In Patients With Childbirth

Objective:With retrospective study on clinical case analysis,to explore the intervention effect of bushenhuoxue prescription on the pregnancy status of patients with medical history of embryo development ceasing (kidney deficiency and blood stasis).Analysis of serum Progesterone (P) and Estradiol (E2) and the success rate of pregnancy of the patients,further to study the relationship between the time of TCM treatment and the degree of hormone change. Method:The data collected are 231 cases of patients(kidney deficiency and blood stasis) from February 2013 to February 2016 at Guanganmen Hospital of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. All the patients had the history of embryo development ceasing,and the first visiting of doctor was within 6 weeks of pregnancy and without using hormone for tocolytic therapy. Among them,40 patients received TCM treatment for 3 months,49 for 4 months,52 for 5 months,47 for 6 months and 43 patients in control group. The serum Progesterone(P),Estradiol(E2) levels and the success rate of pregnancy were compared among those five groups.Result:There is no statistical difference in age,the times of embryo development ceasing and days of menopause while their first visiting of doctor among the five groups(P> 0.05).The success rates are(the order is control group,received TCM treatment for3,4,5,6 months):83.72%> 90.00%> 95.91%> 96.15%,97.87%. The success rate get higher with the longer time of TCM treatment,and the rates of TCM groups are much higher than the control group. There is significant difference of the serum Progesterone(P) and Estradiol(E2) levels among the TCM treatment groups and the control group(P< 0.01); there is significant difference of the serum Progesterone(P) and Estradiol(E2) levels among the 3-months TCM treatment group,4-months TCM treatment group,5-months TCM treatment group and 6-months TCM treatment group(P< 0.05); there is no significant difference of the serum Progesterone(P) and Estradiol(E2) levels among the 4-months TCM treatment groups,5-months TCM treatment groups and 6-rmonths TCM treatment groups(P> 0.05).From the above comparison,we know that the serum Progesterone(P) and Estradiol(E2) levels of the patients from TCM treatment groups are significantly higher than the control group.The serum Progesterone(P) and Estradiol(E2) levels of 4-months TCM treatment group,5-months TCM treatment group and 6-months TCM treatment group are significantly higher than 3-months TCM treatment group.The serum Progesterone(P) and Estradiol(E2) levels among the 4-months TCM treatment group,5-months TCM treatment group and 6-months TCM treatment group.Conclusion:With the treatment of bushenhuoxue prescription on the patients with medical history of embryo development ceasing (kidney deficiency and blood stasis) for 3-6 months,the early pregnancy hormone levels and the success rate of pregnancy get improved;with the treatment of bushenhuoxue prescription for 3-6 months,the success rate of pregnancy significantly improved and increased with the treatment time prolonged;with the treatment of bushenhuoxue prescription for 3-6 months,the effect did not increase with the increase of treatment time,4-months TCM treatment was the best.
