Based on the Gymnastic Result Processing System in the 22nd Southeast Asian Games project, the thesis mainly focuses on the applications of the information technology in large scaled games. According to the author's analysis and comprehension, the reforms brought by the object-oriented technology and the theory of software reuse are introduced. Applications of object-oriented technology and the theory of software reuse in Gymnastic Result Processing System are represented, and the flexibility, maintainability and expansibility of the system are improved. Firstly, the thesis introduces the status of the Gymnastic Result Processing System. Then it makes a discussion about the requirement analysis, the design and the realization of the system. At the same time, it gives an introduction about the environment and tools during the development procedure of the system. At last, the author generalizes the all thesis. It is one of the emphases in this thesis to use the theory of software reuse in the result processing system in large scaled games and to realize the Gymnastic Result Processing System using the object-oriented technology. The design and implementation of the software module is discussed in detail. The interface between software and external device and the interface between the system and web server system are introduced with emphasis. The necessity and the feasibility of using object-oriented technology are expounded. The objects involved in the software system and their attributes and functions are defined. At last, the communication interface among the objects is created. The development efficiency is greatly improved and the life of the system is prolonged by reuse the classes. The user interface of Gymnastic Result Processing System is simple, friendly and can be conveniently used. The design goal of the system has been achieved successfully.
