Research And Application Of Software Reuse Based On Object-Oriented

Software reuse is a technique that constructs the software system with existent software resources. That is, when people are developing a new software application system, they reuse software resources, which they have used or they have built before. In such away, software development doesn't have to start from the scratch. Based on the past achievements, efforts of software development, could be mostly concentrated on special composing composition of application. It' s regard as the best way to resolve the Software Crisis and improve the quality and productivity of software.With the deepening of our country's system reform in colleges and universities, how to manage the institutions of higher learning becomes more and more complicated and educational administration is playing a decisive role in administration of colleges and universities. Therefore, it is very important to create management information system in collegiate educational administration currently. So it is necessary for us to deeply discuss how to develop a management information system under the guide of software reuse in educational administration.Based on the integrated educational MIS(Management Information System) of NanChang University, This paper studies the relative technologies of software reuse based on OO(Object-Oriented), it points out the key factors for realizing software reuse, and emphasizes the possibility of software reuse in 00 and how to support OO Method , it also analyzes 00 technology and mechanism of PFC(PowerBuilder Foundation Class Library), and , exploiting PFC technology, guided by the idea of software reuse to realize the integrated educational management system .This achievement is very beneficial for how to develop software based on software reuse by using OO technology and Component Technology based on PowerBuilder; as well as good reference to how to develop educational administration MIS with this technology.By using the reusable software component and software framework, the new software developer can shorten the development period, reduce the development cost and enhance the quality of the system when they start a new project.
