Western TV Special Zone Theory

Through exploring TV development road in the western region, we believe that it is a feasible, breakthrough basic thinking to establish "Western TV Special Zone" to make a macro and thorough reform attempt.The paper makes a systematic analysis of the relationship between the cultural industry and economics and the advantages and disadvantages of developing TV cultural trade in the Western region. Based on the analysis, the paper raises a concrete plan to set up a Western TV special Zone. The paper believes that the special economic zones and administrative zones already set up in China can provide new thinkings for the development of Western TV. Western TV development can also take the road of a special zone. The government formulates the policy to allow a certain area to develop its regional cultural TV industry first. After development, the area can set up an inspiring example for other regions to follow. In this way, a road for developing China's broadcasting and TV industry can be explored, ultimately leading to overall development of the whole cultural and TV industry.
