Research Of Distributed Workflow System Based On Agent

Workflow Management System (WfMS) accelerated the development of enterprise's production and management, at the same time the development of enterprise's production and management asked for the development and perfection of WfMS. Therefore, to satisfy enterprise's new requirement, it's necessary to improve workflow management system. So a new distributed workflow system frame based on agent is brought out in this thesis.In this thesis, first we will see the definition and specialties of agent. The Multi Agent System (MAS) is emphasized. The structure and coordination have been discussed quite particularly.Lastly, Several classical workflow management system are analysed. A N-tier workflow framework is represented and analysed. So a distributed workflow system based on agent is elicited. This thesis explains its structure and performance, depicts the interior module of agent and communications between agents. An allied structure of multi-agent is adoptted, elaborate analysis and contrast between the new framework and the original one are made.
