With the leap progress of science and technology, the whole world has already entered a digitization, information and networked era. Broadcasting and television undertakings get swift and violent development thereupon. radio stations make high demands to Broadcasting and TV system, including automatization and intelligence. In such conditions, new demands have been put forward to the broadcasting transmitters. The transmitter's controller can not only turn on/off the machine automatically, inspect the machine's states, but also has much higher intelligence and network-controlling functions. Under the whole environment, the transmitter's controller, the core of a radio machine, has become one of the focal study points. This paper mainly expounds how to design the micro-controller of the radio machine from coming up wholly, and narrated the key thoughts in details.This paper has introduced the design of the computer controller of a special broadcast transmitter from the whole to the parts. Firstly this paper analyses the functional demands of the controller, secondly analyses the performance characteristics that the controller should have according to the characteristics. Later this paper designs different key structures of micro-controller according to the different broadcast transmitters, and has explained the basis of choosing the relevant structure in details. This paper also has narrated the choice of relevant devices according to the demands of the system. Later this paper carried on the detailed argumentation of the software and the hardware of the whole system. Finally thispaper gives an introduction of the real working states of the system.To satisfy the broadcasting's characteristics of high dependability and strong real-time, the controller adopts a multi-CPUs framework to simplify the hardware structure and improve the system's stability. During the developing of the system, this paper uses different methods of data exchanging to different controlling core, and detailedly narrates the task arrangement in a multi-CPUs system. To the software design of the system, this paper mainly discusses the design philosophy and detailed resource allocation. Some questions met in the course of developing and the answers given by the author are listed at the end of this paper.
