Because of the wide application in various kinds of industrial facilities of steel wire rope, the improvement of the detection technique of the steel wire rope has been paid attention to by scientists for a long time, its development has a history of 100 years or so. But the steel wire rope material becomes more and more complicated with the development of science and technology, so it is more difficult to be measured.This thesis has introduced basic knowledge of the steel wire rope at first, On the basis of summarizing the current technology , have put forward a kind of brand-new detection method: X ray detection method.Thesis explain physical optics and rudimentary knowledge, then design X ray detection system to obtain the image of Steel wire rope. In the hardware design of the formation of image, in order to make the system have higher sensitivity, CCD device should choose low intensity of illumination, delayed in little electric charge and high transformation, so we have chosen ISD017AP refrigeration CCD which Russia produces in this thesis.The article put forward the brand-new grey theory pattern process method , Utilize AGO data producing and model of GM (1,1), design one set of algorithm on the basis of the gray system, Have analysed the pattern-recognition of equipment fault based on theory of the grey target, And the analysis indicate that it is reasonable for grey theory to conduct pattern processing and adopt gray target theory operation conditions in equipment carry on trouble pattern-recognition , Therefore apply the powerful grey system to pattern process, finally realize the picture strain wave and picture emulation that edge measure based on grey system with Matlab software.
