In the 21th century, with the development of management model that comes to cross-area direction, enterprises make a stricter requirement for the coverage of Management Information System. In other words, it not only requires the concentered management of business data of very department within the same local network, but also needs to include the business data from the remote system which is independent of local network. This would make the transparent working of various departments located in different areas. This distributed architecture of cross-area Information management system also becomes the focus of researches of enterprise information system.Based on the in-depth research of network communication and security technologies, this paper builds up a architectural model of cross-area logistics management system. This model included the hybrid network architecture of Intranet and Internet and provided the virtual platform of the information management of all departments within an enterprise. For the key technique of this model------remote data transport, this papercompares some kinds of available schemes and designs a Internet-based plan for remote data transportation which emphasizes the economic and security issue. Furthermore, this plan has been divided into three sub-models as identification, data encryption and decryption, and data transportation according to its different functionality. These three sub-models use one-time password, hybrid encryption and widows socket techniques accordingly. In the end, this paper realizes this Internet-based data transportation scheme, and presents the future view of this area after comprehensive analysis of its performance.
