With the volatile increase of network traffic, the third-layer switch has become the hotspot of development and research in industry because of its line-speed function, while people long for the higher speed network devices. Mcanwhile, the network management of switch becomes more and more important because of requirement of the higher quality in service. For the moment, many switch companies lend to the research of the network management intelligentized, and the dynamic configuration of OSPF protocol is the base of the implementing of management intelligentized. , As long as we implement the dynamic configuration of OSPF protocol, we can exert to execute all kinds of functions of the third-layer switch and to improve the actual performance of the network system.In this paper, we mainly research into how to configure OSPF routing protocol in dynamic way. After analyzing the architechture of IMS system and OSPF routing protocol, we gain the crucial space of processing OSPF protocol packet, and give the frame of processing and implementing, and poit out the shortcoming of static configuration based on OSPF. Moreover, we summarize all problems of solving the danamic configuration of OSPF routing protocol. Consequently, we primarily creat and implement the dynamic-configuration model of OSPF router protocol, and test the consistency of router switch and dynamic configuration. The main work we completed is listed as follows:1) We analyze and research into the systemic architechture of TMS, compiler and debugger of embedded development, RFC documents related to OSPF routing protocol and network management etc. It is essential prepareation for us to analyze dynamic configuration and to test them.2) We analyze and researche how the OSPF routing protocol works and the mechanism of implementing OSPF in the core of the process of OSPF protocol. We still confirm the problems of the event and operator related to the dynamic configuration and how to communicate with the model of configuration management.3) We analyze the configuration model of network management of OSPF routing protocol, find that the realization of dynamic configuration of the OSPF protocol must begin with the IDB+ engine of TMS system and decide how to store MIB by analyzing the NVM+ engine.4) We model the dynamic configuration for OSPF routing protocol, and implement it. The model designs some mechanisms such as multi-hierarchy filter, asynchronous communication, MIB interface, cooperation and adjustment, and MIB reflection. We complete the boundary disposition of dynamic configuration and the row state disposition of MIB variable. The two important processing techniques are involved in the model which are the dynamic configuration of all kinds of MIB variables, the compatibility of configuration between the dynamic and the static.
