In recent years, the mobile robot has already become the strategic objective with representativeness in the high-tech field. Appearance and development of the robot technology, not only make the feature of traditional industrial production change fundamentally, and will have a far-reaching impact on human social life. It is a kind of robot to the mobile robot: robot itself knows the working environment, working target and its state. It decides the working method independently according to the dictate people has offered and the external result itself has knew, utilizes and operates the organization and moblile the organization to realize the goal of task, and can adapt to the change of the working environment.Because our existing mobile robot is a "black box" for us, we can only control with some program inhered in it, that is to say that we can only use, but can't adjust its inside circuit according to our own algorithm. Therefore this thesis is to design and study in the hardware circuit system of the mobile robot mainly, to make the interface relation of every part of circuit clear, and to realize path planning for the robot base on this.We utilize and the mobile robot platform GAIA - 2 for the developing instrument to "dissects" and analyse respectively every part of system of the mobile robot. We made a detailed analyse on the expand circuit of I/Os on the PC /104 board; the expand circuit of serial ports; the circuit of vision sensor; the circuit of ultrasonic sensor; the DC motor driving circuit, found out the physics address of every part and interface relation, and deoxidized the intact hardware circuit of the robot.
