Nowadays, the study of the embedded systems is developed rapidly, so many kinds of embedded systems had been implemented. As the development of Internet, more and more embedded systems are designed with Internet functions. While Internet technical applied in embedded systems, the application of embedded system will be extended, and there will be a new technique, embedded Internet.Occurrence, development and application prospects of the embedded Internet are summarized in this thesis. Then principles of the embedded Internet are discussed and several solution schemes are analyzed. Based on the 51 MCU, a solution scheme of the embedded Internet is showed in this paper. The hardware structure, interface circuits and configuration of the scheme are also discussed. According to the analysis of the TCP/IP protocol stack, the hardware and related software had been designed. The testing results show that the ICMP protocol, UDP protocol and the most pivotal TCP protocol are realized well in this scheme. It shows that the data transmission on point-to-point structure is established, and proves this scheme is feasible. The embedded Internet system based on the 51 MCU has the characteristics of simplicity, and high-adaptability in the applications.It can be widely applied in many fields such as intellectual home appliances, communication terminal, monitoring and measuring equipments, embedded Web, the control of industrial field etc.
