Aiming at demand of connecting embedded systems with Internet , the scheme that connect embedded systems to Internet via MCU based on TCP/IP protocol is obtained and realized in this paper. This paper analyzes the TCP/IP protocol system in detail. In view of the source of SPCE061A(a 16 bit MCU of Sunplus Corp), the TCP/IP protocol is predigested in order to realize it in MCU. This paper discusses Internet Protocol(IP), User Data Protocol(UDP), Internet Control Message Protocol and Address Resolution Protocol mostly.This paper embeds simple TCP/IP protocol in SPCE061A of Sunplus Corp. And connect SPCE061A with Internet via RTL8019AS network card. This paper introduces the structure and character of SPCE061A. At the same time, the structure and character of RTL8019AS chip and its method of receiving and sending data are introduced.In order to validate the validity of the system, this paper also designs an application program base on TCP/IP protocol using VB. Communication data between application program and embedded system which is gained by using Ehereal(a Network analyzer for free) is also given in this paper to prove the correctness of the system.The character of the system is its low cost. It can be connected to Internet conveniently via existing network port. It can also be connected to other embedded machines conveniently.
