Research On The Engineering Drawings Managerment System And Implementation Based On Network And Database

This thesis is mainly concerned with problems of implementation of the engineering drawings management system based on the network and database.For management and processing with engineering drawings and documents in design institute, development of system is based on technology of computer. In this thesis, taking the engineering drawings management system of one design institute as objects, an engineering drawings management system with hybrid architecture is developed. The center of system can manage the engineering drawings and documents of design department, and users can visit and use system by LAN or Internet, the scanning images of engineering drawings also can be processed in system. On the basis of summarizing the common principle and method of selection of system structure andsetting function and means of implementation, we research mainly on such subjects as follows: firstly, we studied the implementation of text extraction and digital signature by CAD secondary development technology combine with database technique. Secondly, based on method for pre-processing scanning images of drawings, finally, the application of artificial neural network in engineering drawing sign character recognition was researched.In this thesis, we presented the building model and implementation method has some references to the designing work of similar system. The functions have the feature of convenience and effect developed by automation. The technique for processing scanning image of engineering drawings ensure obtaining clear and exact image. Computer simulation and program development illustrate that applying neural network in character recognition can achieve satisfaction effects.
