The development and application of traditional Internet now can be seen anywhere in our daily life and work.Intemet can provide for us abundant value-added services,and also it holds tremendous information resources,thus greatly facilitating our convenient share and utilization of them.Though,Internet does have a big disadvantage of being unable to support host mobility,which leads to its inability to fulfill our daily-increasing mobility requirements. With the quick pacing of technology,the industry commonly holds a optimistic view on the coming integration between Internet and mobile communication.Mobile IP may positively exert its influence on this dramatic evolving process.In this dissertation the author firstly gives a brief report on development of Mobile IP and research on Mobile IP,then analyses Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6 in detail,such as function-based constituents ,working process and control messages.in addition, we discuss the commons and difference between Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6.Finally the thesis make a deep research on all kinds of invasion in Mobile IP network,then author employs the "Routing Mechanism Security"standpoint to provide a new security solution. extended Mobile IP protocol extends 3 control messages and introduces several new extensions, thus it can not only give strong authentication services but also achieves comparatively high protocol efficiency and good scalability.
