Research Of Embedded System And Application

It is clear that there is a board application of Embedded System in the future. But now poor method and tools of Embedded System Development become an obstruction of the good future. The traditional workshop way to develop Embedded System hardly adapts to the fast change of market. This thesis purposes to search more effective method and tools of Embedded System Development.Firstly, this thesis describes the concepts of Embedded System and Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), and presents the character of Embeded Online Transaction Terminal which is a typical embeded system wildly used in the field of online transaction process. Then, this thesis raises a point of using Platform Thinking in Embedded System Development. Based on the point, this thesis divids the design of Terminal into the design of three platform (Bottom Platform, Middleware Platform and Application Platform). Most of the thesis focus the particular design of Middelware Platform. Transaction Manager, Transmission Manager, Channel Manager and Link Manager of Middelware Platform is implemented by author. And Safe Return Library of Middelware Platform is reconstructed by author based on anopen source project-LPSM. In the last part of this thesis, author gives a case tointroduce how to create Application Platform on Middelware Platform.
