Research On The Resources Management And Optimization Deploment To Support ASP

Informatization Technology for Manufacturing is a necessary choice for the enterprises to improve their capabilities of innovation and market competition. Application Service Provider(ASP), the new informatization service mode based on Internet, is the effective way for manufacturing enterprises to enhance their technology for informatization. Based on this background, the paper researched the ASP service mode and the technology for resources management & optimization deployment to support ASP system.The relationship between manufacturing informatization and ASP service was analyzed firstly and the main contents of ASP service were introduced. The discussions were given to process of ASP service and the features structure of ASP platform. Some technologies concerned with realizing the ASP service are d described. Then the definition, the classification and the content of the manufacturing resources were analyzed. The descriptive model for the resources was established. After the analyses to the relationship between the consumers requirements and the possible ASP service as well as the map between the requirements and the resources features, a model for resources deployment was presented, and the resources search and deployment were realized based on requirements-driven strategy. With the discussions to the evaluation method of available resources, an optimizing deployment strategy for manufacturing resources was presented according to the requirement for evaluating the resources from their features and capabilities. The evaluated results could be obtained based on certain consumers requirements. Finally, the structure of the ASP service system and its supporting tools were studied. By using some programming technologies .such as JSP, SQL and JAVA, a support system for manufacturing resources management"5h9 optimization deployment was established based on the ASP platform so that the accessing operation to the resources database could be realized.The work of the paper is a beneficial attempt research in ASP. The obtained results will have certain theoretical significance in enriching ASP theory system and accelerating the application of ASP technology. The developed system software for manufacturing resources management and optimization deployment has important practical value as the part of ASP tools.
