Research On The Employment Situation Of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Undergraduates

With the further reform of employment system of Higher Institutions'Graduates and the scale of higher education extending continuously , Graduates'employment is becoming the whole social focus and appearing more and more outstanding. Under the whole rigorous employment conditions, key colleges and universities'graduates employment, as become the weatherglass of the whole graduates'employment condition, provides the fame of reference for people to evaluate the function of reading and the worth of knowledge. In this thesis, the author studies the employment conditions and its impact factors of the undergraduates from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (directly under the Ministry of Education) in 2005-2009.This thesis consists of preface and four chapters. The preface points out the question with clarifying the backgrounds, meanings and purposes. Then train of thought and methods are introduced and several key concepts are defined. The second chapter is from the macro analysis of China's changing employment environment and its influencing factors, And the analysis of employment and social backgrounds for Shanghai Jiao tong University. The third chapter is the total analysis of employment conditions of Shanghai Jiao tong University undergraduates ,by laying particular emphasis on the employment rate, moving directions, the salary levels etc. Chapter four, according to the result of the questionnaire, a contrast analysis is carried on between undergraduates in 2009 and 2005-2008, Then the employment characteristics and outstanding questions of shanghai Jiao Tong University undergraduates are revealed. Chapter five is the strategy research of undergraduates'employment question. This chapter mentions some basic strategies for solving problems from four dimensions such as area, university and graduates and provides some references for the related sections.
