The Impact Of Network Communication On Social Development Of College Students

As the improvement of living condition, the modern university students are facing a variety of social conflicts, not only modern or traditional cultural, but also the reality or virtual life of society, that make the process of social development more complicated. as a kind of virtual space and interpersonal venue, Internet is becoming so attractive to university studentsfor its convenient and virtual properties. Internet communication, a completely new type of interaction, forming its shape with a very short time.Therefore, the research that trying to find out the factors affecting social development of college student of Internet communication——the most comprehensive, most efficient way of communication so far——have significant meaning for further exploration of networks and creation of social mechanisms, at the same time we can reach the goal of promoting the social development of college student.This article aim at college students network communication, with the help of《the Questionnaire of College Network communication》,《Social Support Rating Scale》,and based on five universities in Hohhot including Inner Mongolia University, Inner Mongolia Normal University,etc. discussed the relationship between network communication problems and social supports, this empirical research lay a solid foundation for the further explore, that is,the impact of network communication on social development of college studentsThe research results show that, when the network becomes a major communicate form of contemporary college students with an unprecedented extent and depth to fulfil what they need, the network communication on social development of college student only appeared as a variable quantity. Social development of college student is a comprehensive result, which was affected by factors as follows:network communication, social culture, family environment, school education, peer relations, own cognitive ability and biological factors,etc.Therefore, according to the results above, this study suggest that take measures from positive aspects such as society, schools, families, students,and so on,trying to establish a good network communication environment for college student, forming a full society support system, reduce the destruction of interpersonal relationship,which could be caused by virtual network, only in this way can we promote the social development of college student effectively.
