Education is not only the process of knowledge transfer and cultural transmission but also the process of moulding and upgrading in physical and psychological aspects. It is very important that how to achieve The humanism about secondary language teaching ."Humanism" here has two meanings: One is the national character of Chinese. Taday it is very important to stress the nationalism of the Chinese language and culture because of the violent conflict among traditional culture, modern culture and Western and Eastern cultures. The other is individulism. It is focus on the refinement of soul and personality. In view of that, some ideas about our secondary Chinese teaching will be put forward in this article with the intention of encouraging humanities about language teaching and developing the intelligence of students while teaching them the national culture so as to enable students to become life individuals with distinctive ethnic features and characters.The realization of language teaching in secondary schools of humanities must avoid overkill. Firstly, the new curriculum standards have been promulgated and are being implemented all over the country. The new curriculum standards defined the nature property of language discipline is the union of tool and humanity, which is both theoretical foudational and realistic condition. Secondly, to comply with the requirements of the development of the situation, teachers are constantly changing their concepts of education and teaching methods. They respect the students for their main status and guide them to study on their own. They will no longer regard students as simple knowledge containers. Last but not least, some good teaching methods from China's ancient teaching can be used for reference, such as reading accumulation and ideological awareness. It takes ten years to grow trees, but a hundred to rear people. Rearing people should be ultimate goal of education. As an important discipline of basic education, the secondary language teaching should shoulder the important responsibility .
