Researches On The Teaching Applications Of Stream Media

Based on the detailed introduction of the concepts and characteristics of stream media technology, this thesis probes into the possibilities in constructing the applicable teaching platforms which support the continuation of varieties of learning activities and it also explores the possibilities in forming the digitally unified format of teaching resources and signal types. Meanwhile, the thesis analyzes some concrete applicable modes by utilizing the teaching platform supported by Stream Media technologies to facilitate teachers' various teaching activities and students' learning activities. Based on the above analysis, it further brings up the ideas of constructing unified teaching platform by the applications of stream media technology to conform or partially replace some teaching technologies and equipments via the Campus LAN (Local Area Network) and it also touches upon the bright applicable future of constructing digitally unified format of teaching resources under the support of the Stream Media technologies.
