The social class theory have three sources, Karl Marx, Max Weber and Emile Durkheim all have contributed in these.This thesis will base in Karl Marx, Max Weber and Emile Durkheim's position, elaborate their social class theory, and compare with the angle of view and the analysis principle and methodology, clarify the different and alike by teasing the logical relationship in their content.The thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter discuss the three theory orientation in social research and it' s influence in social class theory. The discussion of this chapter focal in the different of the demonstrationism, humanism and criticizism theory orientation, and their influence, which lead to the different of the elementary position and the angle of view about Durkheim, Weber and Marx' s social class theory. These are the core of this thesis.The second chapter discuss the Marx' s social class theory. These chapter consists of four sections. The first section discuss the core and base of Marx' s social class;the second section discuss the intent of Marx' s social class theory and tease the Marx' s social class theory;the third section discuss the elementary character of Marx' s social class theory;the fourth section discuss the development of the Marx' s social class theory,the author select the social class theory of Mao zedong and Erik Olin Wright compare with the Marx' s social class theory in lengthways.The third chapter discuss the Weber' s social class theory.These chapter consists of four section too, and the framework same with the last chapter, in the fourth section, the author select the Anthony Giddens, Parkin and Randall Collins, whose social class theoris arerepresents of the New Weberism.The fourth chapter discuss the Durkheim' s social class theory. The chapter consists of four section and the framework same with the last chapter, in the fourth section, Talcott Parsons, Niklas Luhmann, Davis and Moore are selected, who are represent of the functionism social class theory, the auther classify their social class theory in the development of the Durkheim' s social class theory part.The fifth chapter compare the Marxism, Weberism and Durkheimism social class theory in crosswise, and summarize these. The auther compare the different?of three sorts of class thoery in the five direction: CDthe observe angle in social class(2)the distinguish foundation to social class differentiation?the attitude of social class differentiation?the opinion of the relationship between the classes(5)the prospect of the class development. Of course, the auther will summarize some alike points in their thories at the last. After had teased the transfer and development about three sorts of class theory, the auther had the last summarize at here, and prospected the development of class theory in the future, offered some brief explanation about some useful section in the social class theory which can be use in the present, try to find some significance of Marx, Weber and Durkheim' s social class thinking in the present.
