| Since the 1990s, the computer technology and the communication technology , especially the multi-media technology, have been greatly developed. The multi-media technology, with the feature of being audio-visual, vivid and having large amount of information, is more and more popular among the teachers and thus become one of the main tools of teaching in modern society.Basing on the features of itself, Biology teaching will be in a closer and closer connection with the multi-media technology and this will necessarily lead to the renovation of Biology teaching. But, at present, most of the teachers of Biology don't have enough computer knowledge and thus can not apply freely the multi-media technology to the teaching of Biology. This will hamper the development of Biology teaching.Starting from dealing with the application of the multi-media technology in Biology teaching, the paper expatiates upon some related research in order to offer an example and reference, to enable people to make full use of the multi-media technology in Biology teaching and promote the reform of the Biology classroom teaching.
