As one of the core components of adolescent capabilities, leadership plays great role in the formation and development of other important capabilities. Just as foreign scholars explained, the development of leadership can be traced back to his or her primary or secondary school phase, and every adolescent has potential of being a leader. Once the adolescent get related resources, his or her leadership potential will get the chance to develop. For these reasons, it is not only promoting the future development of the adolescent but also avoiding wasting and low efficiency of resources to put appreciate leadership development resources in the right phases.Based on the related theory and special situation of China, this paper definite adolescent leadership as a process in which the adolescent will use related resources to master some capabilities and in the end will actualize both personal and team aims. This paper mainly uses quality research method. Firstly the author did in-depth interviews of 41 senior secondary school and university student leaders, and then verbatim transcribed the interview material. In the end the author analyzed the interview by using Content Analysis Method.By comparing and analyzing the leadership features and difference in different phrase of adolescent and various student organizations, the paper gets the following two conclusions. On the one hand, there are five common features of the adolescent leadership. Firstly, the schools in China have supplied enough resources for adolescent to develop leadership. Secondly earlier experience is one of the key factors of obtaining the student leader position. Thirdly the communication ability and leadership of adolescent are influencing each other. Fourthly, the development of leadership can influence the adolescent's work career and further development. Fifthly, the adolescent mainly use transform or charismatic leadership. On the other hand, there are five differences in the earlier and later phase of adolescent. Firstly, the student leaders of university spend more time on student issues than that of senior secondary school. Secondly, university student leaders are more independence. Thirdly, the university student leaders have more chance of communication with fresh persons. Fourthly, they meet different problems in different phase. Fifthly, the university students get more support. To adapt the transition they should transform their role in different time and start from the basic role of the organization.
