Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937) is the founder and general secretary of the Italian Communist Party, he is also an outstanding activist of The international labor movement, he insisted on exploring the road of proletarian revolution proceed from the actual situation of his own country, he created his own socialist theory—the Practical Philosophy and the theory of Cultural Hegemony. He was regarded as one of the most original theorists of Marxist in the 20th century.In this thesis, I mainly made some researches on Gramsci's theory of Cultural Hegemony, in order to help us to think about the question of the right way for the proletarian revolution in today. First, I'll sort out the originally theory of Gramsci's theory of Cultural Hegemony, to find the cause of he created the theory of Cultural Hegemony. Then, I'll introduce the integral part of this theory: including the special significance of the two important concepts - "Culture" and "Hegemony", his original ideas of Civil Society and the theory of Intellectuals, the strategy of the Cultural Hegemony, and so on.After Gramsci created the Cultural research way to solve the issue proletarian revolution, many theorists created their different theories of Cultural Hegemony, we should distinguish them from right and wrong.Through the research of Gramsci's theory of Cultural Hegemony, we should realize the new international situation of the world, we can also extract experience from investigate the reason of Gramsci's theory of Cultural Hegemony failure to achieve. Maybe we can make reference to his strategy of the Cultural Hegemony, the proletarian intellectuals can draw inspiration from this theory, expand the original scope of the application—not only in Europe but also in the whole world.
