This thesis gathers extant operas and novels about Yang Jiajiang in Yuan and Ming dynasty as the object of study. First, it analyzes the reasons from areas such as politics, economy, thinking and culture why operas and novels came into being in every period and later transmuted, summarizes the transmutation phenomenon and the entirety characteristics reflected during the transmutation. Second, through text comparison, it conducts case study, disinters the underlying literature value, finds out writing features of the feuilletons in the early age of Ming dynasty and the interaction among different styles of novels.
