Objective: observe the effect and influence on bone density of splintage and Plaster immobilization for Osteoporotic Barton Fracture. Methods:72 patients were enrolled, they were randomly diveded into splintage group and Plaster immobilization group, Meawhile, manipulation, functional exercise and calcinm and vitamin-D were supplemented for these patients. Following treatment for 12weeks, whether or not resid abnormity, pain, grasp force anastate degree andarticulatio carpi activity were evaluated acroding to"cooney articulatio carpi score", determinbone density before Osteoporotic Colle's Fracture and 12weeks later. Results: 6weeks after fracture: splintage group curative effect: 18 patients had an excellent result; 12, a good result; 5, affair result; and 1, apoorresult . Plaster immobilization group: 10patients had an excellent result; 12, a good result; 10, affair result; and 4, apoorresult . 12weeks after fracture: splintage group curative effect:23 patients had an excellent result; 11, a good result; 1, affair result; and 1, apoorresult. Plaster immobilization group :14 patients had an excellent result; 12, a good result; 7, affair result; and 3, apoorresult. Conclusion: The method of splintage is better than Plaster immobilization for osteoporotic distal radius fracture in the 6weeks and 12weeks. The two methods for bone density and 2/3 particular spot on a forearm perimeter is to cut down in the 6weeks and 12weeks. The effect of the bone density was no obviously disparity, but splintage is better than Plaster immobilization for 2/3 particular spot on a forearm perimeter.
