Objectives:To research the clinical effect of Zhuanggu Decoction on osteoporotic fracture to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of Zhuanggu Decoction for elderly osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures, and provide a theoretical basis for clinical medicine.Methods:All 60 cases were collected from the orthopaedic department of our Hospitai from May 2008 to February 2009,and were randomly divided into treated(30 cases) and controlled(30 cases) group. Two groups of patients were therefore correspondingly lying hard bed, early reset, cushions of pillows on back, the back muscle functional exercise one week later, got out of bed six weeks later. In the meantime, The control group are given Miacalcic by subcutaneous injection,50 iu once a day, changed to 50 iu one time two days one week later, changed to 50 iu one time one week two weeks later,a total of 3 months. At the same time Caltrate-D chips were given by oral administration 0.6g twice a day. the experimental group are given Zhuanggu Decoction, mainly epimedium, Drynaria, medlar, radix, Poria, etc., a dose one day,warm-taken twice a day. Both groups were treated for 3 months. Studies were used to detect pain, X-ray changes(Cobb, high percentage of vertebral front), bone, laboratory related indicators (general index, index of bone resorption and bone formation index), adverse drug reaction from pretherapy to 3 and 6 months after treatment.Results:1,The preoperative random various factors (gender, age, number of injured vertebrae, location, pain, various laboratory parameters, bone density, radiographic changes) of observation group and control group were no difference (P> 0.05);2,Follow-up after treatment:(1) After treatment for 3 months, the indicators (except for Ca,P, Mg) of the treatment group and control group were improved compared with the pre-treatment. And the comparison between the two groups (except for the percentage of leading edge hight of injured vertebra,Ca, P, Mg), treatment group was significantly superior to the control group with a relatively significant difference (P<0.05);(2) After treatment for 6 months, the indicators (except for the percentage of leading edge hight of injured vertebra,Ca, P, Mg) of the two groups were significant compared with the pre-treatment (P<0.05), However, there is no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclutions:1.Zhuanggu Decoction with functional training can be effectively treated with the senile osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures,and improve the clinical symptoms, signs.;2. Zhuanggu Decoction can improve indicators of bone metabolism, adjust bone formation, inhibit bone resorption, and effectively increase the bone mineral content and increase bone mineral density;3.There are no significant adverse drug reactions in Zhuanggu Decoction. It's safe, effective, inexpensive easy and worthy to be popularized. Particularly in rural and economic conditions in underdeveloped areas are there broad application prospects. |
