| Objectives:To evaluate the clinical effects with locking compression proximal femoral bone plate in the treatmeat of senile femoral intertrochanteric fracture. Methods:37 patients which senile femoral inter-trochanteric fracture were treated operatively with locking proximal femoral bone plate. Results:37 patients were followed up form 9 to 15 months. All fractures healed. According to Kuderna criterion, the results of 29 excellent cases,6 good cases and 1 fair case were obtained. The excellent and good rate function was 94.6%. Conclusion:Locking proximal femoral bone plate in fixation of senile femoral intertrochanteric fracture is accord with the demands of biomechanics. At the same time, there are many advantages, such as:simple operation, littler invasive injury, stable fixation, fewer complications and satisfactory bone union rate. It is a simple and useful fixation device. |
