The Clinical Observation Of Fruit Acid Combined Loquat Clean Lungs Beverage On Acne Vulgaris

Acne Vulgaris is a common and prevalent skin disease. It is an inflammatory chronical skin condition involving with hair follicles and sebaceous glands. These oil-producing glands associated with the tiny hairs which cover the face and body are the site of the primary changes seen in acne vulgaris. The condition is characterized by outbreaks of lesions better known as acnes, papules, pustules, nodes, cysts and scars etc. People ages form 15 to 30 years old are commonest to attract acne vulgaris.Objective:The objective is to explore a kind of economic, safe, reliable, suitable for the promotion of a new method for treating acne through observing the efficiency and safety of Fruit Acid combined loquat Clean lungs beverage on Acne Vulgaris.Methods:All of the 60 patients with acne were selected from the patients who were diagnosed as Acne Vulgaris from the Dermatology Clinic of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicin In December 2008 to March 2009. The sex of patients were not different, and with age of raging from 18 to 40. The 60 patients were randomly divided into tow groups:The treatment group was Fruit Acid combined loquat Clean lungs beverage, consisted of 30 cases. The comparison group only take loquat Clean lungs beverage, consisted of 30 cases. Each group use the same decoction method of traditional Chinese medicine:one dose each day, taken dividually in the morning and afternoon, and 150-200ml every time. The treatment group is on the base of the comparison group, added the glycolic peeling:To use the 20% concentration of Fruit Acid to smudge in patients with face and neck, continue for 20 minutes, then neutralize with the neutralizer,at last cold Jet 10 minutes. To use this method every two weeks, gradually extend the retention time. The courses of treatment are both 6 weeks. We have evaluated the efficacy and safely through observing the changes of the two groups of skin lesions on the 2nd, 4th an 6th week and calculating the declining number, the therapeutic index of skin lesions and the incidence and recurring rate of the adverse reaction during the treatment.Results:1. After treated 2,4,6 weeks the total effective rate of the treatment group is 56.7%, 93.3%,96.7%, and the total effective rate of the comparison group is 33.3%,70%,83.3%. We can easily suppose that the efficiency of the treatment group is higher than the comparison group. And the different of efficiency between the two groups has remarkable statistics meaning (P<0.05) after four weeks, showing that the Fruit Acid combined loquat Clean lungs beverage was more remarkable than the simply useful loquat Clean lungs beverage on Acne Vulgari.2. After 4 weeks, there is remarkable statistics meaning (P<0.05)through comparing the improvement degree on non-inflammatory lesions between two groups, showing that the Fruit Acid combined loquat Clean lungs beverage was more remarkable than the simply useful loquat Clean lungs beverage on the Acne Vulgari. After 6 weeks, there is remarkable statistics meaning (P<0.05) through comparing the improvement degree on inflammatory lesions between two groups, showing that the Fruit Acid combined loquat Clean lungs beverage was more remarkable than the simply useful loquat Clean lungs beverage on the Acne Vulgari.3. After 6 weeks of observation of the acne lesions secondary to score, Rash dissipated in the treatment group left after the fibrous nodules, inflammation after dark red, the color-and the improvement of the scars were significantly better than the comparison group, and the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05).4. In terms of the ADRs,2 cases of the patient taken patent brawny desquamation which was small scale after the glycolic peeling. One of them continuous 2 days, the other one continuous 7 days.1 case of the patients who used the glycolic peeling taken small blister and incrustation which was came off automatically, had no pigmentation disorder, and after 2 weeks made a recovery. No persistent ADRs on erythema and edema, showing AHAS is a safe AEDs for treating acne.Conclustion:Fruit Acid combined loquat Clean lungs beverage treatment of nodular Acne Vulgaris can be significantly improved in patients with acne lesions, its clinical effect than simple loquat Clean lungs beverage, and can significantly reduce inflammatory acne rash dissipated after fibrous, dark red color and scar. And in the glycolic peeling, the ADRs is light, showing the glycolic peeling is a kind of economic, safe, reliable, suitable for the promotion of a new method for treating acne.
