The Influence Of Different Dialysis Doses And Volume Control On Blood Pressure Of The Hemodialysis Patients In Gan Su Province

BackgroundAs an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease, hypertension prevails in hemodialysis patients. further, intradialytic hypotension and hypertension bring patients additional risks and result in hemodialysis inadequacy.ObjectiveTo investigate the impact of different dialysis doses and volume control on blood pressure of the hemodialysis patients in Gan su province.Methodsone hundred and twenty hemodialysis patients were randomly assigned to four groups:conventional volume control and conventional dialysis doses group(CRCJ, n=30), conventional volume control and enhanced dialysis doses group(CRQJ,n=30), enhanced volume control and conventional dialysis doses group(QRCJ, n=30), enhanced volume control and enhanced dialysis doses group(QRQJ, n=30). The main observation indicators include:blood pressure (BP), intradialytic hypotension and hypertension, the numbers and cost of antihypertensive drugs in a year and so on.Results(1)The difference of blood pressure among four groups was not significant at the start of the study. Over 6 months, significant reduction in BP were observed only in the QRQJ group. Over 12 months, BP in all groups were significantly declined, but reduction in QRQJ group was steeper than other groups. (2)The frequency of intradialytic hypertension in QR QJgroup was significantly lower than it in other groups. (3) The frequency of intradialytic hypotension in QRQJ group was significantly lower than it in CRQJ and CRCJ groups, but was similar with QRCR group. (4) The numbers and cost of antihypertensive drugs in QR QJgroup was significantly lower than those in other groups.conclusionThe combination of enhanced dialysis doses with enhanced volume control may reduce blood pressuer,the frequency of intradialytic hypertension or hypotension and the cost of antihypertensive drugs in the hemodialysis patients.
