Hospital Performance In Synthesized Evaluation Research

Objective:To provide scientific, reasonable, effectual foundation for making strategic decisions in hospital management by synthesized evaluation of 8 hospitals' performance with multi-indexes. Thereby, to raise the hospital performance management and increase regional core competitive strength.Methods:Application by TOPSIS method in synthesized evaluation of hospital performance with 30 indexes during 2004-2009. To filter indexes by specialist advisory method and to use analytic hierarchy process, Saaty's weighing method to determine the third class index and weighing of hospital performance.Results:Application by TOPSIS method in synthesized evaluation of hospital performance with 30 indexes during2004-2009, The hospital D with optimal performance, oppositely, the hospital G, keeping with the factual working situation in recent years.Conclusions:The balanced scorecard appraises the development situation of running and management in hospital, applicating by TOPSIS method in synthesized evaluation of multi-indexes, can objectively reflect the qualities level and find out the cause of quality, is of important utility value to raise the hospital performance management, is propitious to continuous quality improvement of hospital, so as to raise management level and service capacity...
