Objective:To investigate the change of plasma visfatin level and the relationship of plasma visfatin and other Factors in Type 2 Diabetes Patients. and the influence of aerobic exercise on plasma visfatin level.Methods:Fasting plasma visfatin levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 18 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and control. Meanwhile FTI,IL-6,TC, LDL-C,HDL-C,TC, FPG and height ,weight ,waistline ,hip circumference were measured ,and body mass index(BMI),waist to hip ratio(WHR)and homeostasis model of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR) were also calculated .After aerobic exercise was given to the T2DM for 16 weeks ,some of the above mentioned indicators were measured again and the plasma visfatin levels in the pre-&post-treatment patients with T2DM was compared.Results:(1)The plasma visfatin levels in T2DM patients were remarkably higher than those in Healthy people (p<0.05) and the plasma visfatin levels in patients with T2DM patients was significantly higher than that in non-obese T2DM patients(p<0.05)(2)A correlation analysis showed that the serum visfatin levels was positively correlated withBMI,WHR,FPG,FINS,HOMA-IR,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,IL-6 respectively(p<0.01).In a multiple linear regression analysis , BMI,TC and HOMA-IR was independently associated with plasma visfatin level.After the aerobic (3) After aerobic exercise was given to the T2DM for 16 weeks,plasma visfatin level significantly increased in T2DM compared to pre-treatment patients with T2DM. (p<0.05)Conclusion:(1) The fasting plasma visfatin levels in T2DM increased and the obesity subgroup of type 2 diabetes are signifieant higher than those of non-obesity diabetes (p<0.05),fasting plasma visfatin level is positively related to T2DM,obesity and insulin resistant(2) After aerobic exercise was given to the T2DM for 16 weeks, the level of visfatin significant increases compared to treatment ,therefore visfatin may contribute to the pathogenesis of T2DM,obesity and insulin resistant; so, changing the lever of the visfatin by suitable exercise may be one of the factors of the treatment effect on the T2DM. |
