The Correlative Factors Of Left Atrial Remodeling After Percutaneous Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect and correlative factors of left atrial remodeling after Percutaneous Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty (PBMV). Methods:Collect 96 patiens got success PBMV, record general information and result of echo cardiography electrocardio gram, before and one week after PBMV and follow-up 4-6 years, record mitral valve area(MVA), left atrium diamension(LAD), blood pressure and so on, retrospective analyse the correlative factors of left atrial diamension PBMV and analyse relativity. Results:LAD reduce from 44.6±6.6cm before PBMV to 42.8±6.53cm(P>0.05) one week after PBMV and became 47.2±5.67cm (P<0.01) after 4-6 years; The mitral valvearea (MVA) increased froml.06±0.32 cm2 before PBMV to 2.02±0.43 cm2 one week after PBMV (P<0.01),heart function varying degrees improve. Through multiple stepwise regression analysis.4-6years' left ventricular diastolic dimension (LVDD). systolic blood pressure (SBP), one week's MVA, auricular fibrillation (AF), body mass index(BMI) are the correlative factors of left atrial remodeling after PBMV: after PBMV the one week's MVA,4-6years' LVDD have negative correlation with LAD. Conclusion: PBMV canmaintain a satisfying interim and long term clinical results, but left atrium keep on largen,4-6years' LVDD, SBP. one week's MVA. AF. BMI are correlative factors. One week's MVA.4-6years' LVDD have negative correlation with LAD.
