Objective To assess diagnostic tests for Posterior Cruciate Ligament(PCL) Tears so as to provide decision-making evidence for clinical diagnosis and screening.Method The following databases were searched, PubMed (1956~2009.9),Cochrane library (3 issue,2009),EMBASE (1974~2009.9),Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBMWEB) (1978~2009.9),Chinese Scientific Journals Fulltext Database (CSJD) (1989~2009.9),China Journal Fulltext Database(CJFD) (1994~2009.9) et al;Web information of unpublished studies were searched by hand-searching reference lists and abstracts of conference proceedings and Google and Medical Martix. The data of the included studies were extracted, and methodological quality of the studies was assessed according to the QUADAS independently by two reviewers. And any disagreements were resolved through discussion. Meta-disc software was used to analyze sensitivity, specificity and so on.Result 19 studies were included MR imaging of the summary of sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio and odds ratio of diagnosis test and SROC are 96%,98.5%,25.108,0.160,236.30 and 0.9769.Conclusion MR imaging has a sound value in diagnosing injury of the posterior cruciate ligament, but more high quality trials are required.
