Clinical And Experimental Study On The Effect Of Gel. Zixue In Promoting Wound Healing After An Operation For Low Simple Anal Fistula And In The Level Of EFG In Blood Serum

Objective:To probe into the effects of Gel. Zixue in promoting wound healing after an operation for low simple anal fistula and its effecting on the level of EFG in blood serum.Method:Clinical study:50 patients with low simple anal fistula after operation were randomly divided into two groups (the treating group treated with Gel. Zixue and the controlling group treated with Kangfuxin). The healing ratio,the healing time,the growth of granulation tissue,adverse effect and the level of EFG in blood serum were observed. Experimental study:1.Anti-bacteria effect in vitro of Gel. Zixue was observed in a bacteriostatic test.2. Gel. Zixue was spread on the integ-ral and damaged skins that hairs were cut off in the hack of rabbit. It was observed whether Gel. Zixue could induce skin irritation.3. The allergy reactions of guinea pigs were watched by sensitizing and challenge con-tact with Gel. Zixue.Result:The result of clinical study:1. The healing ratio in 10days,14days of the treating group were higher than the controlling group (P<0.05 & P<0.01).2. The average healing time was significantly shorter in experimental group than in control group (P<0.01).3. the growth of granulation tissue in the treating group were better than the controlling group (P<0.01).4. The improvement rate of wound healing in experimental group is 92% which is higher than in control group (P<0.01).5.1n 3days after operation, the level of EFG in blood serum of experimental group and control group were lower than normal group, In 7days,14days, the level of EGF in blood serum were stepping up gradually, compare with the level in 3 days, the difference has significance; the amplitude in experimental group was higher than in control group (P<0.05&P<0.01).6. There were no adverse reaction both in experimental group and in control group.experimental study:1. Gel. Zixue has some bacteriostatic action on Staphylococcus aureus (SA),Bacterium coli and Hemolytic streptococcus.2. Gel. Zixue has no stimulus and sensitization to experimental animal'skin.Conclusion:1. Gel. Zixue can shorten the patients'healing time who has low simple anal fistula after operation, hasten the wound healing. The mechanism perhaps has something to do with adjusting the level of EFG in blood serum.2. Gel. Zixue has no any stimulus and sensitization to skin.
