| Objective To investigate the difference between Hui and Han vitiligo patients in HLA-DRB1 *0301/02,*0701/02,*1201/02,HLA-DQB1*0201 allele genes frequency, and explore HLA-DRB1*0301/02,*0701/02,*1201/02,HLA-DQB1 *0201 alleles that may be in volved in the genetic susceptibility to vitiligo in Ningxia. To provide the reliable laboratory basis for the revelation of vitiligo pathogenesis and the heredity characteristic.Methods The HLA-DRB1 *0301/02,*0701/02,*1201/02,HLA-DQB1 *0201 alleles were detected by polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific pri- mers (PCR-SSP) method in 137 patients with vitiligo and normal controls in Ningxia. Statistical data is dealed with SPSSl3.0 statistics software and analyzed by theχ~2 test. If P-value is less than 0.05, then the result can be considered meaningful.Results①Compared the two control groups, the frequence of HLA-DRB1*1201/02 in Hui(13.57%) is higher than that in Han(6.11%). RR=0.415,χ~2 = 5.159,P = 0.023 < 0.05.②In vitiligo patient groups,there is no significant difference between hui and han(P-value>0.05).③In Ningxia Han group, the frequence of HLA-DRB1*1201/02 in patients(15.51%) is higher than that in control group(6.11%). RR = 2.822,χ~2 = 8.619,P = 0.004 < 0.05.④In Ningxia Hui group, there is no significant difference between vitiligo patients and the controls (P-value>0.05).⑤there are no significant difference between vitiligo patients who have family history and the controls regardless the race.But the frequence of HLA-DRB1*1201/02 in han vitiligo patients (14.17%)who have no family history is higher than that in the controls(6.11%).⑥there is no significant difference between hui vitiligo patients who have or no family history and the controls.Conclusion HLA-DRB1*1201/02 alleles may be the susceptible genes or there maybe close linkage with the susceptible genes to vitiligo in han popole especially who have no family history. |
