Clinical Research On The Modified Treatment Of Pemberton Surgical Operation Of The Developmental Dislocation Of The Hip

Objective: To gain experience of the Modified treatment of Pemberton surgical operation on Developmental Dislocation of the Hip and to probe into causes and precautions on complications ;Methods: 62 patients (73hips) with Developmental Dislocation of the Hip were given surgical treatments supplementing with postoperative dirigation in ShanDong Provincial Hospital of TCM. Having done researches and follow-up observations in all these cases clinically, we investigated in acetabular index, femoral anteversion angle and made a concrete analysis of postoperative complications as well as a sum-up of operative experience with the aid of Plain CRand three dimensional CT reconstruction technique.Results: After receiving Pemberton surgical operation 62 patients (73hips) with Developmental Dislocation of the Hip got different outcome in accordance with Zhou YongDe and Ji ShiJun's response criteria on Developmental Dislocation of the Hip as: 57 hips reached excellent, 10 hips got good, 5 hips received averaged level and I for poorness, in which the rate of good quality is 91.78%.Conclusion: the Modified treatment of Pemberton surgical operation is an effective and dependable therapy. Right surgical operative procedure, pre-operation and postoperative management are crucial keys to a successful surgical operation which lead to less postoperative complications availably.
